La Vuelta was something I started with a friend in 2021, an Afro-Latin hip hop night we ran most Sundays at Hootananny in Brixton, built to give a stage to independent artists from Afro and Latin backgrounds who weren't really getting one elsewhere. Over three years that turned into 17+ events and a slot on the Latin stage at Lambeth Country Show 2024, playing to a crowd of 1200+. I ran the branding and social output, directed and shot the video content across every event, and handled a lot of what happens behind the scenes too: venue and crew logistics, coordinating volunteers, artists and vendors, and the posters and merchandise design that carried the visual identity.
